Oh, Summer! Great! Clean the swimming pool in the back yard, and fill up with cold water. Hold a party for your kids, invite friends to come, tools for barbecue and so many things need to do. Finally, you realize that one of the critical roles in the party is your swimming pool. Therefore, the following water games are the things you’re looking for in your party.
Go Sports Splash Hoop 360
This basketball hoop may be a little expensive at $35, but it’s definitely worth the cost. It’s incredibly easy to assemble, which is important when it comes to products for children. Therefore, It’s easy enough that older kids could build it themselves. Additionally, It includes a pump to inflate the basketballs, and that’s a definite can get a positive score. With a pump, the balls inflate much quicker so that providing for much less annoying and much more playing experience. The most important is it’s sturdy–it won’t flip over and interrupt play time. Besides, the balls are easy to grip and don’t deflate quickly, and the hoop is made of foam and plastic so it won’t pop.
SwimWays Fish Styx Pool Diving Toys
These fish are really fun for kids, especially those who are just learning to swim and need practice diving down to the bottom of the pool. They’re colorful, so they’re easy to see, and they encourage fun, fantastic games. Unfortunately, they don’t match up to what was promised. They look a lot cheaper but are much less cute than the ones pictured, and they don’t “wiggle” like they’re supposed to–they just sink. On the other hand, They’re not a good shape, so sometimes it’s pretty difficult to pick them up, especially for younger kids, and they break easily. Overall, they’re still a fun toy, but they’re definitely not the best diving toys out there. If you want something that will last all summer long, these aren’t the toys for you.

Max Liquidator Water Blasters
Don’t be fooled by the word “Max”–these blasters are actually pretty tiny. The picture provided is misleading and the actual toys are much smaller than similar products. Also, the set doesn’t include all six colors, which is disappointing. In contrast, they do shoot water with a broad range, as they’re supposed to, so overall it depends on what’s most important to you. Meanwhile, it is not too expensive at 3 dollars each (for a total price of $20) and it’s easy to see why they’re a best seller. So, if you’re looking for a fun toy for your kids to play within the pool, this is a good choice, but if you want more color variety and are expecting a bigger blaster, look elsewhere.
Intex Pool Volleyball Game
The volleyball game is an absolute staple of summer fun, and this set is lots of fun in the pool. It’s larger than it looks in the picture, and it’s the perfect size for a backyard pool. Also, it’s cheap, and it’s easy to set up, but it does have a few problems. What’s more, the net is flimsy, and it won’t stay in place unless you weigh it down. It does come with two bags for that very purpose, but there are holes in them so have to fill them with something big like rocks or bricks. Also, the setup instructions are confusing, and if you don’t have an electric pump inflating the ball and net will be difficult.
Regard the price, the ball itself is pretty cheap, more like a beach ball, which is to be expected from such an inexpensive product. It works, but not great, so you also might want to consider using a different ball. Finally, if you don’t want to spend a lot of money, this product is a great choice, but otherwise, you should look for a higher quality set.
Watermelon Ball Jr
This ball is a really unique pool toy for kids as it can be thrown above or under the water, and its small size makes it perfect for children. You will find it is hard to fill the ball completely, but it still works even if there’s a little air inside. Because of its design, the ball won’t stay under water. Instead, it floats slowly to the top, so it can’t be used as a diving toy, but this buoyancy allows it to move easily under the water and it works really well. Keep in mind that this is the Watermelon Ball Jr.
If you’re buying it for older kids, or for use by an adult, you probably want to purchase the original Watermelon Ball, which is larger. Either way, it’s a right product, and it’s definitely worth its $20 price tag.
Poolmaster Toss ‘N’ Splash
Toss ‘N’ Splash is similar to a lot of on-land beanbag games, but even though it’s not super original. The game is fun and colorful, and it floats really well, so it’s a perfect summer toy for kids. Unfortunately, the balls aren’t heavy enough, and so most of the time they are blown off by the wind or they bounce right off the target. Replacing them with weightier balls works excellent though, and, because the game is pretty inexpensive, it’s not a huge problem. You can also poke a hole in the ball and add a little water to make the balls heavier. Overall, young kids might get frustrated by this game as it is a bit difficult, but it’s a great choice for older kids.
Greenco Inflatable Water Wheel
At first glance, this doesn’t look like a great product. In fact, it seems downright stupid, but a big blow-up rainbow wheel is actually tons of fun. However the name is little misleading, due to it doesn’t really spin like a hamster wheel, but that’s okay. There’s plenty of ways for kids to play with this, floating, jumping, and balancing. It’s well constructed, so it doesn’t fall apart after rough play. However, you should try to avoid rocks or anything sharp. At the end of the day, it’s a fun, colorful toy that any kid would love, especially if you’re looking for something new and different. Using the same pool toys year after year can get boring, so buying a product like this is a great way to spice up your summer play time.
You will find your party must lack some if you miss up these funny water games in your swimming pool.
